Wrinkles
What vitamins would you recommend to reduce the appearance of wrinkles?
As we age, skin loses its elasticity and creases become more visible. While no magic pill or cream can completely erase wrinkles, some vitamins and minerals may help prevent their progression and minimize their appearance. Vitamin E, in conjunction with selenium, aids in skin repair. Vitamin C repairs connective tissue and helps form collagen - it is becoming a popular ingredient in commercial skin moisturizers, lotions and creams. Vitamins A, K and D are also involved in building new skin tissue, and the B complex vitamins are essential for healthy skin. Essential fatty acids help keep skin supple. Beyond these vitamin therapies, the best advice is to limit exposure to sunlight, drink plenty of water, reduce stress and stop smoking and drinking alcohol.

Omega-3 fatty acids, found in oily fish such as sardines and salmon, have been shown to reduce sun damage to the skin.
