Herbal Flea and Tick Remedies for Pets
Are there any herbs that can prevent fleas and ticks from invading my pet?
Try the book All You Ever Wanted to Know About Herbs for Pets, by Mary L. Wulff-Tilford and Gregory L. Tilford, Bowtie Press, 1999. It contains some recipes for flea and tick repellents and rinses for pets. Some of the multi-ingredient concoctions may seem a little complicated, but most of the herbs and essential oils are available in a good health food store. Note, what you use for yourself is not necessarily safe and effective for Fido, and vice-versa.
